Lucario got embarrassed at his over excitement and tried to calm down, despite the big swishes his tail continues to make. He gave Aaron anther lick to the cheek, finding it to be one of his only ways of passing his affection to the other. He looked down shyly.
“I didn’t mean to make it sound like you had abandoned me… I didn’t know until it was too late… Oh sir Aaron forgive me…”
Lucario lowered his head, always feeling guilty inside for the mistrust of his friend, despite the new found truth that proved his owners innocence.
“master… We shall never part ways again.” he mumbled.
Sir Aaron looked at him, the movements of his tail were just … nice to look at. He hadn’t seen Lucario this happy in his life, it was a sight for him, if he had to say so himself. He laughed softly under his breath as he felt the pokemon lick his cheek, and he pat his head gently.
“Of course I forgive you.” He said. “I think it’s I who’s supposed to be apologizing.” He started. “I didn’t want to make it seem like I was betraying you at that time, but it was the best I could do.” He muttered.
“We can’t, and we won’t.” He said. He looked at him with a small smile on his lips. “I promise.”
